Lauren E. Fisher

Lauren Fisher is an associate whose practice focuses on employment matters, including the representation of clients in non-competition/restrictive covenant matters, employment harassment and discrimination suits, and wage and hour disputes.

Fisher earned her bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt she was a National Merit Scholarship recipient and volunteer at the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Upon graduation, Fisher worked as the Policy and Communications Intern for the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services in Nashville.

Fisher attended law school at Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. While in law school, Fisher received the Roger D. Groot Scholarship and was the Managing Editor of the Washington and Lee Journal of Civil of Rights and Social Justice. As a third year law student, Fisher provided pro bono legal representation to residents of southwestern Virginia and appeared in court on their behalf through the Community Legal Practice Center at Washington and Lee.

Fisher worked as an intern at Shelley & Schulte during her third year of law school and joined the firm as an associate in September of 2010. Outside of work, she is an avid runner and active volunteer with the Junior League of Richmond.
